The Partner Relationship Manager is a full-time, remote position at Snappy Kraken. Accessibility requirements are dependent on the role but could be expected during standard business hours Monday through Friday. This position is open to any candidates currently residing and eligible to legally work in the United States or Canada.


The Purpose of This Role

As a Partner Relationship Manager, you will develop, service, and grow relationships with our existing channel partners, and help facilitate an award-winning onboarding experience for new partners. Successful candidates will be approachable, action-oriented, flexible problem solvers with great verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.


The Partner Relationship Manager will report to the Director of Enterprise & Partner Relations.


Primary Role & Responsibilities

Our ideal PRM should be:

  • Proactive at identifying and motivating non-participating channel partners

  • Able to develop strategic selling and marketing initiatives

  • Motivated to drive sales through our distribution channels to meet and/or exceed sales and revenue goals

  • Open to creating and executing ‘joint partner strategy plans’ to increase partner network adoption of our products and accelerate SK revenue

  • Able to prepare and give periodic business reviews to the SK leadership team

  • Committed to delivering an exemplary partner experience with every interaction. 


Primary Qualifications

  • Bachelor/diploma/certificate/degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, or related field

  • Business development, sales, customer or partner management, consulting, or related experience

  • Financial industry experience, preferably in working with Broker-Dealers, Custodians, TAMPs, FMOs, and other similar organizations that support advisors

  • Excellent, high-energy, and well-articulated presenting skills

  • Respond accurately and professionally to questions and concerns from channel partners

  • Provide subject matter expertise to partners, and showcase leadership on Snappy Kraken products and partner resources

  • Advocate for the partner experience by working with internal depts to deliver ongoing, high-quality marketing and training assets

  • Draft and distribute communications to Channel Partners

  • Copywriting experience is a plus

  • Available to travel to 10-15 conferences per year

  • Proven experience producing in a virtual environment 

  • Proper remote working environment with stable high-speed internet, electricity, and appropriate working space

  • Strong asynchronous communication ability

  • Tech-Savvy and highly comfortable working with remote communication software 

  • Ability to be productive, disciplined, and trustworthy while working independently
