About Curative

Curative is building the future of health insurance with a first-of-its-kind employer-based plan designed to remove financial barriers and make care truly accessible: one monthly premium with $0 copays and $0 deductibles*. Backed by our recent $150M in Series B funding and valuation at $1.275B, Curative is scaling rapidly and investing in AI-powered service, deeper member engagement, and a smart network designed for today’s workforce.

Our north star guides everything we do: healthcare only works when people can actually use it. That belief drives every decision we make: from how we design our plan, support our members, to how we collaborate as a team.

If you want to do meaningful work with a team that moves fast, experiments boldly, and cares deeply, Curative is the place to do it. We’re growing fast and looking for teammates who want to help transform health insurance for the better.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Curative is seeking an accomplished physician executive to lead clinical operations and innovation for its Management Services Organization (MSO). The MSO sits within Curative and provides management-services oversight and operational support to affiliated professional limited liability companies (PLLCs) through which physicians and other licensed clinicians deliver care, separate from Curative's payer organization. The Vice President will set the MSO operating strategy and build the people, processes, technology, governance, and
performance systems required to support and scale baseline visits, virtual and in-person primary care across multiple states.

This leader will translate clinical strategy into disciplined execution while protecting clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, clinician experience, member satisfaction, financial sustainability, and appropriate separation between provider and payer functions. The Vice President will be a visible leader and collaborate across medical leadership, operations, finance, legal and compliance.

The successful candidate combines clinical credibility, deep MSO or medical-group operating experience, creative problem solving, strong business judgment, and demonstrated fluency with AI-enabled transformation. They can think at enterprise scale, move decisively through ambiguity, and build durable systems without losing the human experience of care.

Note: This role is an employee of Curative/MSO and does not exercise authority reserved to the physician owners, governing bodies, or designated clinical leadership of affiliated professional entities, including authority over the independent clinical judgment of physicians or other licensed clinicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    business continuity.
  • Design, standardize, and continuously improve operating playbooks and workflows that support safe, efficient, patient-centered care while allowing appropriate clinical and market-level flexibility.

  • Define and monitor Baseline Visit performance measures, including completion, time to appointment, clinical quality, member engagement, care-plan activation, follow-up, and patient/member experience.
  • Continuously improve the Baseline experience, clinical content, risk identification, care pathways, handoffs, and longitudinal follow-through in partnership with clinical leaders, Care Navigation, Population Health, Pharmacy, Product, and the health plan.
  • Use insights from Baseline Visits and primary care operations to identify new clinical programs and creative ways to improve prevention, engagement, outcomes, and member value.

Physician, Clinical Team & Leadership Development

  • Build and execute a multi-state workforce strategy spanning physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nursing, care teams, and clinical operations leaders serving through affiliated provider PLLCs.
  • Recruit, lead, coach operational directors, managers, and other leaders; establish clear goals, decision authority, succession plans, and development pathways.
  • Oversee scalable, MSO-supported recruiting, selection, onboarding, licensing, credentialing, privileging, training, and performance-management processes for affiliated provider PLLCs in partnership with People, Legal, Compliance, and clinical leadership, in alignment with clinical selection, supervision, clinical competency determinations, and other clinical performance or disciplinary decisions of the applicable PLLC and its physician clinical leadership.
  • Create an environment of excellence, accountability, psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning that strengthens clinician engagement and retention.
  • Address performance issues directly and fairly while recognizing and developing high-impact talent across clinical and nonclinical teams.

Quality, Safety, Compliance & MSO Governance

  • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer and physician leaders of the affiliated provider PLLCs to operationalize quality, patient-safety, evidence-based practice, peer-review, incident-response, and improvement priorities.
  • Ensure effective MSO systems supporting professional licensure, credentialing, telehealth operations, accreditation, policies and procedures, regulatory readiness, and compliance across all operating states and affiliated provider entities.
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance to maintain appropriate governance, contracting, and decision rights among Curative, the MSO, the affiliated provider PLLCs, and the payer organization; support compliant delegation and management-services arrangements; and protect physician-led clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain robust audit, risk-management, corrective-action, privacy, and information-security practices in partnership with accountable enterprise functions.
  • Balance speed and innovation with disciplined clinical, regulatory, ethical, and reputational risk management.

Financial Stewardship & Operating Performance

  • Own the MSO clinical-operations and management-services plan and budget; partner with Finance and the CMO on P&L performance, unit economics, productivity, cost structure, service delivery, and investment priorities.
  • Develop financial and operational forecasts, resource plans, and business cases for growth, staffing, technology, vendors, facilities, and new clinical programs.
  • Establish service-level expectations and performance accountability for MSO services provided to affiliated PLLCs, internal shared services, external vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Use financial and operational data to identify growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, capacity constraints, and tradeoffs without compromising quality or patient experience.
  • Create a disciplined operating cadence for reviews, decisions, follow-through, and escalation management. AI, Technology & Digital Transformation
  • Define and execute a physician-led AI and digital-transformation roadmap for clinical and MSO operations, tied to measurable patient, clinician, quality, access, and financial outcomes.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value use cases across documentation, scheduling, triage, credentialing, quality, clinical decision support, analytics, patient communication, workforce planning, and administrative automation.
  • Establish responsible AI governance, including executive accountability, use-case intake, vendor evaluation, clinical validation, privacy and security review, fairness assessment, human oversight, monitoring, incident response, and workforce education.
  • Lead adoption and change management, create feedback loops, monitor real-world performance, and stop or revise tools that do not meet clinical, operational, or ethical standards.
  • Measure and communicate the impact and return on investment of AI and technology initiatives, including unintended consequences and lessons learned.

Data, Analytics & Performance Management

  • Create a KPI and OKR framework with clear definitions, accountable owners, targets, and an executive dashboard for MSO service delivery and affiliated provider-entity performance.
