SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support in patient care, assist with administrative tasks, and ensure a smooth workflow within the medical office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Greet patients and assist with patient intake virtually and in-person.
  • Take vital signs, record medical history, and assist with physical exams.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor treatments.
  • Administer injections, medications, and vaccines as directed.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
  • Assist with front office duties such as answering phones and verifying insurance
    information.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
  • Virtual Care experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in EHR systems and basic office software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
