Purpose
The maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. This position directly reports to Plant Manager/VP Operations
Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electric trouble shoot
- basic knowledge of plastic processing.
- Troubleshoot problems with injection molding machines and their auxiliary equipment.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other repairs as needed.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Oversee the preventative maintenance for plant equipment.
- Perform any other assignments given by his/her supervisor.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance for every start up job or every day ( check all auxiliary equipment , material dryer and machine
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of an injection molding plant.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience repairing injection molding machinery and associated auxiliary equipment.
- Basic math skills and basic understanding of the English language.
Physical Requirements:
- · Sit, stand, and walk for long period of time.
- · Lift up to 25 Ibs and good hand-eye coordination.
- · Must be able to talk, Listen, and speak clearly
