We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician III. This position is primarily responsible for installing and maintaining all buildings, equipment and other items necessary for the facility to remain in optimum operational condition, including fabrication of gas delivery panel, custom systems, custom work surfaces, etc. which entails different types of welding (MIG, TIG, Orbital).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures all production equipment is maintained in qualified and operational condition at all times, reporting all exceptions to the Maintenance Manager.

• Compiles and maintains a list of critical building, safety and operation equipment with identified preventive maintenance requirements.

• Completes all preventive and corrective maintenance activities in a timely and accurate manner. • Ensures all equipment is on-line and available to support production activities.

• Ensures buildings and grounds are maintained to code and supports the operational activities of the business.

• Proficient at completing 100% of standard PMs on the shop floor that require mechanical work, fabrication tasks and/or basic electrical knowledge to ensure the integrity, performance and safety of all company equipment.

• Attends training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office

• Must have extensive knowledge of vacuum pumps and compressors and be able to rebuild them.

• Must have competent skills using a variety of tools.

• Must be capable of building and running stainless steel tubing and lines for gas fill stations.

• Must be capable of contacting and working with vendors to purchase required equipment and supplies for plant operations.

• Orbital welding experience preferred but training and continued education available as well.

• Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.

• Ability to perform the physical labor necessary, including moving/lifting up to 100 pounds.

• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
