Role Overview

As the Product Owner/Product Manager, you will work closely with our team of Product Managers, development teams, and business stakeholders to shape and execute the vision for our CRE-focused software products. This role requires a proactive, organized leader who understands the intricacies of both the real estate industry and agile software development. You will be pivotal in defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and delivering value-driven solutions to market. This role balances political acumen with visionary insight, as you’ll work with leadership to align on objectives that push both product and company growth. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and drive the product vision, aligning with the overall business strategy and revenue goals. Understand market needs and trends in the commercial real estate industry to inform product development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key point of contact for product-related discussions, managing expectations and balancing competing priorities across business stakeholders, developers, and clients.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with Product Managers, development teams, and leadership across multiple products to ensure a cohesive and collaborative approach to product management.
  • Agile Project Management: Translate product goals into actionable user stories, manage backlogs, and facilitate sprint planning to ensure on-time, quality product releases that meet business objectives.
  • Revenue-Focused Development: Prioritize features and initiatives that drive business value, working with the leadership team to create and monitor KPIs that track product success and contribution to company revenue.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a product culture of learning, data-driven decision-making, and constant improvement. Gather and analyze user feedback to refine products over time.
  • Big Picture Orientation: Maintain an understanding of the evolving CRE market, keeping informed on technology and industry shifts to anticipate and meet future client needs.

 

What We Expect from You

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably within the CRE or SaaS industry.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day product needs, with a focus on delivering revenue-generating features.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of working across multiple products and teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and facilitate discussions among various stakeholders with empathy, adaptability, and professionalism.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies and a strong understanding of how to use agile frameworks to align with business goals.
  • Politically savvy, with the ability to influence and align others toward a shared vision.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Product Management, Real Estate, or a related field and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Proven track record of bringing high-quality, user-focused software products to market in an agile development shop.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
