Summary: As a Space Planning Solutions Consultant, you will be a key representative of Nuqleous for our customers, providing technical and product leadership while being accountable for customer-centric solutions. The role is focused on collaborating with product managers, customers, customer success, and product teams to gather customer requirements and voice-of-the-customer feedback and execute consulting solutions. The Space Planning Solutions Consultant will be responsible for the solution management of our space planning automation product, Shelf IQ® offered by Nuqleous.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding discovery/configuration process and the designing of comprehensive solutions addressing customer needs.
- Design presentations and instructional material for consulting deliverables.
- Develop a solid understanding of Shelf IQ, corresponding solutions, and how the actions can improve business performance.
- Gather detailed solution requirements and present the proposed Statements of Work (SOW) and expected deliverables to customers.
- Stay abreast of trends in the retail industry and be a subject matter expert in category management.
- Develop best practices for your areas of subject matter expertise and cross-train the product solutions team so they can roll out best practices with customers.
- Design prototypes that the product team can use in the development of new features and capabilities.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the solution is delivered to the customer's needs and requirements.
- Interface with the product managers and product team, and development organization to secure the development of solutions that meet the customer's needs in a timely manner.
- Drive knowledge transfer among relevant departments at Nuqleous.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of experience
- Preferred degree in business, supply chain, marketing, or industrial engineering
- Preferred experience as retailer category advisor/analyst
- Solid understanding of space planning tables and formula building
- Experience in retail space automation is a plus
- High intellectual curiosity, analytical, creative thinker, and problem-solver with demonstrated initiative
- Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.
- Experience developing analytics tools with any modern BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, etc.…)
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Able to study large data sets to derive key insights
- Successfully project-managed multiple efforts to meet internal or external needs.
