Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Manager of Grants oversees grant portfolio operations ensuring grant and revenue compliance. Under the direction of the Director of Development, this role will support grants across Bridges. This position will collaborate with Finance, Site Leaders, and Operations to support development and growth efforts of the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
The Manager of Grants’ primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Grant Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of grants, including prospecting, stewarding relationships, submitting grant requests, and completing grant reports for grants sizes $10K and up.
- Cultivate, steward, and sustain relationships with the organization’s current grant (foundations, government, corporate) funders.
- Tailor language and create new language for grant proposals.
- Complete and submit grant proposals and all required reporting by or before deadlines.
- Attend meetings with funders and facilitate site visits and donor cultivation.
- Proactively manage all deadlines and ensure key dates and interactions are tracked using Salesforce.
- Manage partnerships, including ensuring compliance with all administrative and other grant requirements plus supporting where required.
- Cultivate, steward, and sustain relationships with the organization’s current grant (foundations, government, corporate) funders.
- Prospecting: Conduct ongoing prospect research on new grant opportunities working in collaboration with the Director of Development, CEO, and site directors with the expectation to bring in additional funders each year.
- Goals: Achieve annual goals that are outlined each year in coordination with the Director of Development including maintaining the current grants portfolio and growing to continually grow and expand the mission and operations of Bridges.
- Collaborate Cross-Departmentally: Work across other departments such as Program, Finance, and Operations to effectively push forward grants work and ensure grants align with program needs and execute mission goals.
- Finance: Budget requests for reports and proposals.
- Program: Site-specific program updates for grant reports and requests; accurate data reporting.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience required in fundraising, communications, or grants management

Physical Requirements:
