What You Will Tackle:

Our Kitchen rockstar will anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.

Prepare all cold and hot food with care and ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.

Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts.

Learn and adapt the menu and help to answer guests questions about our offerings.

Ensure full understanding of the functional areas of the restaurant kitchen.

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.

Visually inspect, select, and use only the freshest ingredients in the preparation of all menu items.

Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to specific restaurant standards.

Plating prepared foods based on the senior chef's guidance.
-
Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products so as to comply with health department regulations.

Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.

Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.

Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.

Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.

Report all accidents and breakages to the F&B Manager or Executive Chef in charge.

Adhere to relevant Food Safety Hygiene standards.

Remain up to date on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Work in a safe manner and abide by OSHA regulations and the Hotel’s policies in regard to accident and incident reporting procedures.
The Essentials:

Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.

Food Handler’s card

1+ Years cooking experience preferred
