Program Associate- Part-time (Remote)
Position Overview: The Program Associate is responsible for supporting 3rd Decade’s programs and participant experience. The position will provide excellent communication to our participants in support of the operations of our quarterly program cohorts which includes managing applications, onboarding participants, and ensuring participants are supported in completing all program requirements. The Associate will also work extensively in our Salesforce database to manage all participant data. This position will also provide ongoing support for all alumni engagement efforts, as well as assisting with our community workshops.
Program Responsibilities:
Program Support

Provides general administrative support for the Sr. Manager of Programs and Curriculum

Implements the enrollment and onboarding process for participants in core and community impact programs.

Provides excellent customer service to 3rd Decade participants during each stage of our programming.

Virtually attends live evening classes and manages the participant experience during classes in conjunction with contract educators.

Manages participant data in Salesforce and produces reports and data pulls as necessary.

Ensures that participants upload necessary information and conduct participant/mentoring matching each quarter.

Gain a deep understanding and ability to successfully use all of 3rd Decades software programs that support participants and mentors, including Absorb LMS, Elements, Zoom, Box, Coconut Connect, and Google Workspace.

Provides proactive professional communication with participants both verbally and in writing.

Assists with the implementation of assessment and evaluation processes for the program.

Assists with the administration and implementation of all 3rd Decade Alumni engagement programs.

Provides support to Community Impact Program workshops and initiatives.
Marketing and Administration

Participate in efforts to market the program in the community to attract participants to the program

Provide data and information needed for grant applications and reporting.
Other

Collaborate with team members on special projects.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience using CRM and database systems, preferably experience using Salesforce.

Excellent organizational skills

Technologically savvy and proficient in various online systems including Google applications, the Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom.

Strong interpersonal communication

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently, but request support when needed

Ability to work with a diverse group of staff and volunteers

Ability to work some weekends or evenings and to occasionally adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or similar experience preferred

Experience with high level administrative tasks

Experience working with online classroom systems (LMS)
