The Administrative SYEP Work Site Monitor (000) will be responsible for supporting the Workforce Development department though direct work with worksites, youth, and administrative work related to the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP). We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administrative SYEP Work Site Monitor (000) to work out of our HQ offices located in Halem, NY.

This is a part-time position working 20 hours a week Monday through Friday (additional hours available during Summer Programming).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Administrative SYEP Work Site Monitor (000) Position:

  • Generate evaluation reports for each worksite.
  • Make sure that worksites comply with city/state protocols.
  • Identify and report program issues and concerns.
  • Provide counsel to the participants as needed.
  • Participate in payroll related activities e.g. collect time cards and enter progress notes, hours worked, and attendance for all participants into the program database on a timely basis.
  • Update online database according to all deadlines.
  • Periodically review all the participant files to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in all enrollment activities and processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the SYEP team
 

Required Skills/Knowledge for the Administrative SYEP Work Site Monitor (000) Position:

  • A minimum of 1 year of college (24 credits) at a state-accredited university/college and a minimum of 2 years in a related field preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to work independently and have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Highly motivated and dedicated to the organizational mission.
