Job Description
Benchmark International is looking for an experienced and driven human resource professional to serve as a Human Resources Manager (HRM). The HRM will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, performance management and development, compliance with labor laws, pay and benefits programs, and the development of HR-related company policies for our US offices. Over time, the successful HRM will collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee HR initiatives that are uniform across the business and aligned with business strategies.
- Partner with the leadership team to execute the company’s HR and talent strategies.
- Maintain HR systems, databases, policies, and processes.
- Lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding efforts.
- Manage internal recruiter and additional HR staff over time.
- Oversee timely and uniform performance management and evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits and support related strategies.
- Develop and deliver HR-specific training materials for team members and managers.
- Provide support and guidance for HR-related questions and issues, employee disciplinary proceedings, investigations, and terminations, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend improvements that align with business objectives.
- Create HR reports for senior management, providing actionable insights to inform strategies.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven working experience as an HRM or comparable roles, preferably 5-10 years.
- SHRM-CP and/or PHR certifications are preferred.
- Energetic and passionate, with a positive and highly motivated can-do attitude.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation abilities.
- People-oriented and results driven.
- Experience working with Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), Administrative Services Organizations (ASO), and their respective systems and databases.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional dress attire required.
- This is a fully in-office position with hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm weekdays, with no work-from-home provision.
Compensation
Base salary: $95,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
