Benchmark International is seeking a Training Specialist to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. This role is instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our employees through well-designed and impactful training programs. A key component of this position is the delivery of training specific to the deal origination and deal transaction processes within the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) industry.

 

The Training Specialist will design, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs that support the development of our internal teams, ensuring alignment with Benchmark International’s strategic goals and high-performance standards.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Designing and facilitating training modules related to the full M&A lifecycle, particularly focusing on deal origination, client engagement, and transaction execution.
  • Assessing organizational and individual training needs through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.
  • Setting clear, measurable learning objectives for training initiatives.
  • Developing training materials, manuals, e-learning content, and other learning tools.
  • Conducting engaging group sessions, hands-on workshops, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Tracking attendance, performance metrics, and post-training assessments to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Continuously updating training content to reflect market trends, compliance requirements, and internal process changes.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new hires with targeted training on M&A processes and company operations.
  • Collaborating with departmental leaders to ensure training aligns with company goals and employee development plans.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist, Corporate Trainer, or in a similar learning & development role.
  • Familiarity or background in M&A, private equity, investment banking, or financial services preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate training techniques, including on-the-job, in-group, and virtual learning.
  • Ability to develop and present content related to complex business functions such as client sourcing, negotiations, due diligence, and transaction closing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint; experience with LMS platforms a plus.

 

Salary

The annual salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000, and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Compensation is paid on a bi-weekly basis.
