Job Overview:

The Technical Admin will provide essential support to ensure the efficient operation of all technical systems and administrative processes within the property management company. This role is pivotal in addressing and resolving any technical issues, supporting property management staff, and assisting with administrative tasks related to property management systems and technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to property management systems (e.g., Property management systems, security systems, tenant portals, etc.).
  • Assist with software and hardware setup, including computers, printers, and other office equipment.
  • Act as the liaison between property management teams and IT service providers for system upgrades, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
  • Manage and maintain digital platforms used for tenant management, lease tracking, and maintenance requests.
  • Assist with setting up and managing communication systems (e.g., email, phone systems) for office and field staff.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the property management teams, including preparing reports, and managing documentation.
  •  Assist in the management of invoices, purchase orders, and contracts related to technical services.
  1. Training:
  • Provide training and support to property management staff on new systems, software tools, and technology-related workflows.
  • Assist staff and tenants in navigating digital portals, maintenance request systems, and any other technical tools used for property management.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Experience:
    •  2+ years of experience in a technical support or system administration role, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.
    • On property experience is a plus.
  1. Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., ResMan, Yardi, MRI, Buildium) is a plus.
    • Proficiency with office management software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
    • Basic knowledge of networking, IT troubleshooting, and system administration.

 

  1. Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer service-oriented mindset.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Patient.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability for the occasional on-call support for after-hours technical emergencies.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between properties.
