Summary: 

The successful onsite Commercial Leasing Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation and management of a portfolio of commercial properties.  This role will value working closely and collaboratively with the on-site property management team, tenants, and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and positive client relations.

 

Compensation:  Base with Commissions = $55,000 to $80,000 potential

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Assists with and is active in the overall leasing process including but not limited to coordinating and conducting property showings, preparing marketing materials, gathering market research along with participating in lease negotiations and tenant screenings. In addition, the leasing associate supports the property management team with related administrative tasks, including document management, correspondence, CRM management, branding, marketing campaigns, digital outreach, and scheduling.  The position is based in downtown Los Angeles and the successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and rapidly evolving marketplace and retail commercial properties that cater to end users in fashion, design and the arts.

Education/Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in a leasing or marketing role in commercial or residential real estate field.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business, marketing, communications or another related field is preferred. 
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

 

Certificates and Licenses: Must have California Real Estate License (no exceptions)

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial statements, or governmental regulations. Ability to interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages. Basic Math skills required such as  addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

Email. RESMAN, and YARDI. ONSITE experience strongly preferred.  Must be able to quickly adapt to new online, web-based programs used in the day-to-day management. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment:

The individual in this role will work in an office environment most of the time and regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this role. The individual will also frequently be required to walk and stand throughout the commercial community, greeting and speaking with residents, employees, and vendors daily.
