Join our candy kingdom as a Stock Associate ensuring our guests keep their sugar rush going with a fully stocked and magical retail experience during their visit at Candytopia. We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, reliable and effective Stockroom and Replenishment Associate. We need a professional and detail-oriented person with a sense of urgency and internal motivation. Our fast paced, high volume, candy coated world requires an entrepreneurial spirt, dedication and follow through on projects and process. Candytopia retail shop is one of the highlights for our guests! We receive several, large weekly shipments with perishable candy, apparel and gifts that need to be sorted, replenished and stored in a very effective and efficient process.

Candytopia is a sprawling sanctuary of confectionary bliss, tastefully curated by Hollywood Candy Queen, Jackie Sorkin & realized by master fabricator, Zac Hartog. This five-month event opened March 2, 2018 and runs through July, 2018.

· You must crave the opportunity to put sweetness and smiles on people's faces.

· You must enjoy working amidst the energy of a crowd of strangers, within a fantastical, mind-warping, lip-smacking, jaw-dropping, eye-boggling magical world.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Represent the CANDYTOPIA brand with joy, creativity & integrity.

· Receive merchandise shipments from delivery driver

· Stock product in the proper location, rotating and replenishing stock between Candytopia retail shop and secondary stock room

· Pull inventory and deliver to Candytopia retail shop via rolling racks and carts

· At times, engage with guests to deliver sweet customer service beyond their wildest drea.

· Work seamlessly as part of a team and independently

· Rely on your internal motivation, demonstrate a sense of urgency and provide efficient merchandise replenishment on every shift

· Strike a pose, as you will be photographed by visitors and shared on social

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Sweet tooth
• Imaginative, contagious, spontaneous & joyful personality!!
• Excellent verbal communications, & customer service skills
• Authentic desire & ability to talk with strangers of all flavors
• Ability to thrive managing multiple tasks with an entrepreneurial team in a fast- paced, start-up environment

· Flexible schedule with open availability especially over the weekends through July 31, 2018

· Available to regularly work 20-25 hours per week with shifts from 8:30am – 2:00pm

· 1-2 years retail replenishment and customer service experience

· Open to being cross trained in other areas of Candytopia (i.e. cashier)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the Candytopia Stock Associate must be able to:

· Lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 300 lbs cart consistently throughout shift

· Ability to complete bill of lading ship receipts, basic math calculations and use of point of sale technology

· Stand for extended periods

· Bend, reach, climb up and down stairs

· Stoop to lift, move, retrieve and carry merchandise

· Pull, push, and lift

· Reach both above and below shoulder height; multiple dexterity.
