This is a hybrid remote/in office position. Offices are in Denver, CO, Austin, TX and Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile Delivery
• Organize and run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is properly groomed, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Ensure transparency of team progress with burndown charts, sprint reports, and other Agile metrics.
• Coach the team in Agile best practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and remove impediments to progress.
Plan & Manage Software Releases
• Develop, maintain, and communicate release plans, timelines, and readiness checklists.
• Coordinate release activities with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and issue resolution related to release cycles.
• Monitor post-release performance and coordinate post-mortems or lessons learned as needed.
Jira, Confluence & Reporting
• Maintain Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, and Confluence pages to reflect team progress and release schedules.
• Use Jira to track progress, manage releases, and generate clear reports for stakeholders and leadership.
• Provide support and training to team members on Jira best practices.
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Facilitate communication within the development team and across Development, Product, QA, DevOps, and Client Success.
• Serve as the central point of contact for release-related updates and release status.
• Ensure risks, issues, and dependencies are raised, tracked, and resolved promptly.
Requirements
Experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• 2+ years of experience planning and coordinating software releases or deployments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and practical application.
• Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to manage Agile teams and release cycles.
• Experience working with SaaS and cloud-based software products is a plus.
• Experience in financial services — specifically the mortgage or warehouse lending space — is a plus.
Education & Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) strongly preferred.
• Additional certifications in release management or Agile delivery are a plus.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving tasks to completion.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Tools
• Deep familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and related Agile project tracking and release management tools.
