This hybrid position can expect to be in-person for stakeholder meetings around Fort Worth and greater Tarrant County approximately 2-3 days per week and has the option to work out of a coworking space or home office for the remainder of the time. Actual in-person time may fluctuate week-to-week depending on priorities and scheduling. We trust employees to lead in managing their schedules and meetings in a way that puts them on track to achieve their goals and is responsive to partner and stakeholder needs.

The Role
As Director, Go Beyond Grades Campaign, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive and ongoing Go Beyond Grades program, focusing on empowering families with actionable knowledge about their children’s academic progress and fostering meaningful parent-teacher engagement. Building on the success of the Spring 2024 campaign, the program will prioritize deep collaboration with key nonprofit partners who collectively serve over 200,000 Tarrant County children annually.
This hands-on leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills to coach, collaborate, and oversee partner implementation. The Director will work closely with nonprofit leaders to tailor curriculum, align metrics, and encourage fidelity in execution. They will also drive data-informed decision-making to measure progress and demonstrate the program’s impact.
Responsibilities will include:
Program Strategy and Implementation (35%)
- Collaborating closely with a selected group of nonprofit organizations and businesses to design a comprehensive and customized scope and sequence to support them in implementing tailored Go Beyond Grades curriculum and programming in alignment with each partner’s organizational goals, practices and programming.
- Developing and implementing data collection systems that measure key outcomes such as 1) The number of parents completing the curriculum, 2) The number of parents accessing their school’s parent portal, 3) the number of parents using Go Beyond Grades online resources and 4) The number of parents who know their child’s academic proficiency, relative to grade level, and meet regularly with their child’s teacher.
- Monitoring progress and implementation to ensure alignment with program objectives, adjusting plans as needed to maximize impact and directly supporting partner staff to ensure high-quality execution, as needed.
Community and Partner Engagement (35%)
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, leveraging partnerships to facilitate parent and family engagement events, and ensuring resources reach targeted audiences.
- Training and managing any part-time, hourly support staff to support events and provide hands-on guidance to parents on accessing academic performance data.
- Motivating and influencing key community leaders and partners toward action in alignment with the goals of the Go Beyond Grades campaign.
Operational Management and Impact Measurement (15%)
- Leading all aspects of program operations, including budget oversight, data monitoring, stakeholder communications, and impact reporting.
- Ensuring robust data collection processes to track and analyze program metrics, enabling evidence-based decision-making.
- Serving as the point of contact for all campaign-related activities, ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders.
Curriculum Development and Training (10%)
- Leading the development of a tailored Go Beyond Grades curriculum and supporting materials, including managing a contracted learning design consultant on key deliverables.
- Tailoring Go Beyond Grades content and program to ensure it is reflective of research-backed learning practices and supporting partner organizations in their efforts to do the same.
Communications and Brand Building (5%)
- Developing and implementing a targeted communication strategy to increase campaign visibility and directly reach parents and families.
- Managing the campaign’s social media presence, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms and amplifying sponsor engagement.
- Elevating the Go Beyond Grades brand locally, ensuring broad recognition and trust within the community.
Goals
In this role, your initial set of goals will include:
- Meaningfully increasing the number of parents in partner organizations that accurately know if their child is on grade level, as compared to baseline data.
- Supporting 100% of Go Beyond Grades sponsors that directly serve students and families to have a customized Go Beyond Grades strategy to integrate messaging and programming into their normal events.
- Ensuring 70% of families served by youth-serving Go Beyond Grades sponsors have logged in to access their school’s parent portal and seen their child’s assessment results.
- Significantly improving the number of parents who report meeting with their child’s teacher to discuss their academic progress and pursue supplementary learning resources.

Preferred Qualifications Include:
- 7+ years of experience within the K-12 school system and/or organizations that serve families in education and/or neighborhood services
- Bilingualism in English and Spanish
- Experience with curriculum development and program design
- Proficient in data collection, analysis and building compelling visualizations
Compensation
Fort Worth Education partnership offers a competitive total compensation package commensurate with experience in a similar position. The target range to bring a candidate in for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. Within that range, our offer will be based on the candidate’s demonstrated skills and prior experience. A candidate with more robust similar experience and skill will be on the higher end of that range, and a candidate with less experience and relevant skills will be on the lower end. FWEP also aligns new salary offers to consider internal equity across positions and the scope of one’s work. As part of that package, Fort Worth Education Partnership provides robust benefits, including an annual performance-based bonus target, a 401k match at 100%, up to 5% of base salary, employer-paid life and disability insurance, and significant employer contributions towards medical and dental health insurance plans.
