• Unpack and distribute supplies and equipment
• Verify daily delivery of items with packing slips and purchase orders, and note back-orders. Notify appropriate individuals of discrepancies
• Research and resolve problems with damaged, missing, or incorrect merchandise
• Computer input of used items from physician preference cards for prior days’ procedures
• Assist with maintaining par levels and restocking when needed
• Prepare supply re-order lists
• Create purchase orders for reordering of supplies and send to appropriate vendor for processing
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts 
• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• At least one (1) year previous work experience in ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting
• Strongly prefer operating room experience - RN, CST knowledge preferable
• Strong computer skills, ability to learn new inventory system software
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends the English language
• Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position
