Job Summary:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will own the delivery of software development and cloud infrastructure projects from kickoff through production. You will be embedded with engineering teams and client stakeholders, digging into technical tradeoffs, unblocking work, and owning outcomes not just timelines.

You'll translate ambiguous client requests into scoped, sequenced work; keep engineering and client expectations aligned; and surface risks early. You will be the person clients call when they want to know where something stands, and the person engineers rely on to clear the path in front of them.

You'll also help define how CCC uses AI in project management. We use AI tooling across the company and we're looking for someone who will actively build on that.

Duties:

  • Own delivery of software development and cloud infrastructure projects, including scope, schedule, dependencies, risk, and client communication

  • Act as the translator between engineers and client stakeholders, turn technical constraints into business-friendly language, and business requirements into work engineers can act on

  • Partner with engineering leads to break down work, sequence it realistically, and keep it moving

  • Manage client expectations on scope, timeline, and tradeoffs so there are no surprises

  • Track effort against estimates, flag capacity risk early, and manage scope changes to keep projects on budget

  • Own work status tracking, documentation accuracy, and project artifacts

  • Manage release coordination and customer-facing release notes

  • Facilitate client rituals including demos, standups, and status reviews with professionalism and clarity

  • Design and implement AI-assisted project management workflows to reduce manual reporting and administrative overhead

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree with major coursework in a technical or business field is ideal. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements.

  • 3+ years managing technical projects, with direct experience on software development and/or cloud infrastructure engagements

  • Demonstrated ownership of project outcomes

  • Ability to hold credible technical conversations with engineers, you need to understand what's being built and why

  • Comfortable working independently and balancing multiple concurrent projects in a remote-friendly environment

  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new tools, technologies, and techniques

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools to project management or operational workflows

  • Exposure to regulated industries (education, healthcare, finance) and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2

  • Experience as a client-facing lead in a consulting, agency, or professional services environment

  • Background in software engineering, QA, or infrastructure
