As part of our ambitious growth plans to enlarge our Global Sales Team, CENTOGENE is always on the lookout for dynamic and dedicated individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of rare disease patients. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing CENTOGENE´s clinical diagnostics business and customer relationships in the Eastern Region of Canada. within the territory primarily in Ontario and Quebec


Primary Job Responsibilities:


  • Business development and Sales of CENTOGENE’s services & solutions in the territory
  • Autonomous planning and implementation of sales activities and customer acquisition
  • Active management of existing and potential strategic/scientific partners
  • Managing relationships with key opinion leaders in the diagnostics of rare hereditary disorders
  • Identify opportunities, implement an action plan to drive and accelerate sample and revenue growth
  • Customer relationship management via SalesForce CRM
  • Collection of market intelligence and competitive information
  • Planning and implementation of Marketing & Sales strategies for your territory
  • Representing CENTOGENE at conferences and target group gatherings
  • Budgetary planning of revenue and local pricing, continual evaluation of results
  • Directly reporting to and coordinating with next-level regional or global leadership



Job Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in biological science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Further background in genetics, biology, laboratory medicine, medical technology
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of biotechnology and field sales (molecular diagnostics, medical laboratory diagnostics, and/or pharmaceutical market), selling complex diagnostic products required
  • Profound understanding of methods used in the field of modern human genetics, rare and neurodegenerative diseases and NGS offering
  • Experience working with hospitals, clinics, and prescribers of genetic testing, and sending tests abroad
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French language required
  • Proven track record of strong negotiating skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and experience in handling complex accounts
  • Work independently towards performance and results
  • Interest in selling CENTOGENE’s products and making a difference in our patient’s lives and their families
  • A solid grasp of scientific and medical concepts, terminologies, and procedure
  • Ability to travel within the territory or internationally 
  • Other job duties as assigned
