As part of our ambitious growth plans to enlarge our Global Alliance Management team CENTOGENE is always on the lookout for dynamic and dedicated individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of rare disease patients. Therefore, we are seeking a Manager of Alliance Management  who will manage  the alliance management function within Centogene Pharma Commercial according to overall company strategic goals. Work cross divisionally and with our external partners, the incumbent is responsible for the overall coordination and management of our pharma projects.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Implement, and actively manage any existing and future alliances (deals, contracts) of any type of third parties (mainly pharmaceutical and biotech companies) and participate in respective Joint Committees.

• Deliver on the alliances with respect to deliverables as agreed in each individual contract/deal, both to the partner as well as Centogene internally (data and revenue)

• Build strong relationships with new and existing partners to ensure that we achieve our mutual goals as part of the alliance.

• Build trusting partnerships with customers and continuously improve customer satisfaction

• Develop, execute and manage contractual obligations, such as milestone payments, and advise collaboration participants on how the partnership contract should be implemented.

• Track progress, including coordinating the definition and reporting of the KPIs, as well as leading periodic health checks to monitor the strength and effectiveness of the partnership.

• Build trust and a positive business relationship that ensure alliances are kept on track; identify important value drivers and key risks, leading efforts to mitigate risks and accelerate value to both parties.

• Build robust, interactive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across commercial, R&D, legal, and alliance teams to drive       partnerships forward.

• Proactively seek opportunities to extend business relationships by expanding existing partnerships or creating additional collaborations.

• Identify and evaluate fundamental issues with the program, resolve issues through interaction with both internal and external stakeholders and make good business decisions in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

• Draft, review and obtain input on deliverables and report the information to program partner


Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS with a minimum with 5+ years’ relevant experience in pharma, diagnostic or life sciences program management. MS/PHD preferred (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered)

• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical product development

• Solid understanding of how to craft and manage a project proposal

• General understanding of regulatory filing requirements for LDTs and CDx in support of investigational therapies

• Team player with great interpersonal skills and experience with leading, liaising and coordinating cross functional project teams

• Displays effective communication skills with a wide range of negotiation techniques

• Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Means to work independently, oriented towards performance and results

• Ability to work effectively in a global matrixed organization.


Travel Requirements:  10%
