The mission of Zeta Charter Schools is to build and sustain high-performing schools that forge thriving communities of lifelong learners, problem solvers, and innovators. Zeta launched in NYC with two public charter schools in the 2018-2019 school year, with plans to grow to approximately twenty elementary, middle, and high schools serving Pre-K-12th grades. Academically Rigorous Education for a Modern Workforce. Zeta combines the best of an academically rigorous education, focused on critical thinking and problem solving, with cutting edge technology and tools. Students excel academically and work to solve the problems of the future, creating and inventing in “innovation laboratories” and developing coding fluency. Mindfulness and Wellness. Zeta Schools promote an environment of mindfulness for students, staff, and families. Mindfulness fosters kindness and serves as the foundation for a respectful school community. It further teaches students the value of treating others in a manner they would want to be treated and to learn self-regulation. Students engage in invigorating daily physical activity and learn healthy habits, and all members of the school community are encouraged to practice and model healthy habits to maximize their own well being.

Developing and executing on all marketing and communication strategies, particularly as it pertains to student recruitment, talent recruitment, and general promotion of Zeta’s mission, vision, and values
Managing design and preserving the Zeta “brand” across all aspects of Zeta communication, including the Zeta website, social media platforms, emails, and related materials
Developing a social media strategy to improve content and boost engagement and managing all aspects of Zeta’s social media presence across multiple platforms
Writing copy for daily social media posts, website copy, external emails, and other digital or printed marketing materials
Producing, curating, and managing development of all visual content (e.g., photo and video developed within Zeta and working with outside partners)
Managing all aspects of Zeta email campaigns
Demonstrating success with collecting, analyzing, and reporting key metrics
Proactively driving innovation, trying new approaches, and tackling communication challenges from many angles and with creative solutions
3-5+ years of experience in design, email marketing, and social media
Demonstrated passion for the mission, vision, and core values of Zeta Schools
Excellent writing, communications, and relationship-building skills
Strong project management experience that drives efficiency and excellence in all aspects of work
Proficiency in social media and email management, including experience managing email campaigns
Flexibility and a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing organizational demands
Knowledge of systems for customer relationship management and business analytics
Zeta is seeking candidates who can start as soon as possible. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
