As a SETSS Teacher, you will be responsible for creating differentiated, scaffolded, and engaging lessons based on students’ individualized education plans. The SETSS Teacher will work with students in small-groups, and will be expected to provide appropriate support to enable students who need additional help to experience academic success and meet our academic benchmarks.

As a SETSS Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide individual or small-group instruction to students who require additional academic support

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide targeted push-in and pull-out academic support

  • Building a classroom culture in which students love learning

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering excellent instruction to all students in the class according to their educational needs

  • Teaching students through an inquiry-based, rigorous curriculum that inspires intellectual curiosity and enables all students to thrive

  • Developing strong relationships with parents and students to create investment in school culture and academics

  • Driving academic outcomes by analyzing data, studying student work, and implementing high-leverage instructional moves to ensure dramatic gains for all students

  • Bringing a passion for innovation and optimizing technology in the classroom

  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress, achievement, and behavior

We are looking for talented SETSS Teachers with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1-2  years+ of lead teaching experience, within a Special Education setting, with a proven record of propelling student growth and achievement. Additionally, we are looking for the following characteristics:
