The mission of Zeta Charter Schools is to build and sustain high-performing schools that forge thriving communities of lifelong learners, problem solvers, and innovators. Academically Rigorous Education for a Modern Workforce. As the Operations and Technology Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure as well as providing leverage and project management support around Operations to our Zeta Schools and Network team. You’ll be a key contributor to ensuring our growing network of schools has scalable processes, systems and technology to drive our efficiency as we continue to scale. You’ll work with a team of mission-driven, high-achieving, passionate colleagues to help Zeta succeed in its mission to build and sustain high-performing schools that forge thriving communities of lifelong learners, problem solvers, and innovators.
Leading on and overseeing key operational work streams, including procurement, day-to-day logistics, facilities, renovations, technology, and vendor management
Evaluating, building, and implementing replicable processes, systems and technology to drive high operational outcomes for our schools
Create a help desk system that allows us to identify short and long term goals.
Support and handle the help desk system ticket requests; perform help desk ticket analysis to continuously drive long-term solutions and process improvement.
Oversee and perform technology support for our schools and Network team.
Create an effective tool to track and manage all Zeta school and employee technology in partnership with our Operations and Network teams
Manage and facilitate technology equipment, systems, and resource planning for our new team members on an on-going basis
Provide high-level of customer-service support for all system users soliciting and utilizing feedback to make future system enhancements.
Work on various ad-hoc projects such as creating training materials (videos and documentation), training of end users, conducting research on customer problems, and other related tasks.
Partner with our Network team members to ensure high quality selection process, maximum use and efficiency, as well as integration of all current technology partnerships to drive our scalability
Developing and documenting organizational policies and procedures around Operations and Technology for a high-functioning start-up
Interfacing with and overseeing outside vendors and other partners, managing relationships and holding them accountable for deliverables and deadlines
2-3 years of project management experience in a technology and/or operations role
Apple Software and Hardware Troubleshooting experience
Familiarity and Comfort with Educational Technology
Help Desk, Training and/or Troubleshooting Experience Preferred
Experience Using Web Help Desk Ticketing Portal
Basic Networking Knowledge (Wireless and Switching Product Awareness)
Basic Educational Technology, and/or database experience
Proven ability to define, execute and measure quarterly goals, objectives and productivity metrics based on data
Strong project management skills and a sense of ownership over projects that drive efficiency and excellence in all aspects of work
Strong systems-thinking skills to create scalable processes across schools
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, and an ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative environment
Ability to work seamlessly between high-level strategy and detail-oriented work
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Zeta offers a competitive compensation package.
