BillingPlatform - Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to prospect, penetrate and qualify enterprise accounts to build pipeline.  You will work closely with Marketing and Sales to target specific geographies and market segments. You love engaging prospects and customers, have great communication skills, and have passion and conviction.  You will be a critical component of our go-to-market efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Outbound prospecting to companies via cold-calling, emails, marketing campaigns, etc.

  • Generate new sales qualified leads and business opportunities to drive pipeline growth

  • Understand BillingPlatform solution and capabilities

  • Manage and track all activities in CRM solution

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop targeted lists and strategies to drive amazing results

  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts

  • Meet and exceed goals and quotas

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in Sales Development, Operations, and/or Finance

  • Previous experience with multiple sales techniques (cold calling, email campaigns, sequencing, etc.)

  • Track record of achievement

  • Experience with sales tools including Salesforce, Hubspot, Google, and other sales productivity tools that will drive results

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

  • 4 year college degree
