Job Title: Manager of Content Marketing
The Manager of Content Marketing is responsible for driving in-house content marketing efforts to help drive market understanding of how Lumina Networks disrupting the market and driving change for our customers. This role will research, design and execute thought leadership, research and technical product content which will drive lead generation and nurture initiatives. We look forward to finding a creative, thoughtful and an analytical thinker who is curious and loves to dig into the details, taking pride in their work and personal ownership of his/her output. This copy writer will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Digital Marketing Associate to integrate programs and optimize impact of successful content.

Create and oversee the execution of original content, analyst research and brand assets to properly position the company, our solutions and products
Works with Director to support brainstorming activities with team and constructs editorial calendar
Content execution includes copy writing of Sales tools (slide decks, white boards, FAQs, battle cards), thought leadership assets (white papers, sponsored reports, executive presentations), product documentation (solution briefs, datasheets), corporate narrative assets (corporate brochures, case studies), and social/digital copy (web, blogs, video scripts) designed to generate traffic, increase engagement and drive lead generation.
Acts as marketing team liaison in product and engineering groups to insure alignment to changing strategies and proper execution of technical content
Collaborate with the digital marketing team on content distribution and SEO
Ensures consistency of messaging across all platforms and assets
Recommends tools to optimize the deployment of internal and external content/assets
Analyze, report and optimize content performance.
Needed Skills and Experience:
Requires 2+ year experience in the networking industry
Requires 3+ years of experience in content creation and copywriting
Must be able to share portfolio/work samples
Strong command of content trends, analytics, deployment tools and demonstrated application
Experience writing for telecommunications and/or web-scale companies preferred
Great communication skills, both spoken and written
4 year degree in Marketing, Engineering or Communications
