Job Title: Strategic Sales Director - Tokyo Japan

We believe the future is open software networks that give providers control over how they implement their ideas and priorities for change. We believe our job is to be the catalyst to bring open software networking out of the lab and into their live network. We started Lumina Networks to ensure that providers can use open source in critical use cases, not just experimental ones. Yet, delivering technology by itself is not enough. Our customers are learning and doing with us, so they acquire the skills, tools and practices needed to develop and manage the platforms we jointly deploy

Experience:

We are actively hiring for a Mid - Level experienced Sales Manager who can later on transition to moving up to a VP Sales level role. This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s looking to move up in their career. This person will team up with the pre-sales and post-sales Net-Dev Services engineers for technical support. This stellar candidate will be able to handle ambiguity in selling services and emerging products.


Requirements:

  • Experience selling to tier one Telcos with active relationships with in at least one of Telefonica, DT, FT/Orange

  • Demonstrated ability to source and develop prospective business

  • Build strategic account sales plan that will meet and exceed quota

  • Experience in complex sales and software sales negotiations

  • Domain experience with networking, mobility, cloud or data center knowledge beneficial.  SDN / NFV, IT DevOps,

  • Ability to lead sales with professional services and subscription license based on open source software.
