Position Overview

The Coordinator, Corporate Relations, will work remotely and must exercise independent judgment in the execution of their job duties. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with external stakeholders and capable of managing multiple priorities autonomously and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.

 

The Coordinator, Corporate Relations, will support the Corporate Relations Department across both the COPD Foundation and the Bronchiectasis and NTM Association, a distinct but aligned entity of the Foundation. This position will play an essential role in the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of corporate relations and support.

 

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Corporate Relations, the Coordinator, Corporate Relations ensures backend efficiency, supports strategic outreach, and strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality engagement. This role will regularly engage with our largest pharmaceutical, and other corporate supporters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize virtual and in-person meetings with corporate supporters, including attending (as appropriate), and coordinate follow-ups in a timely manner.
  • Develop agendas, prepare pre and post meeting communication, and track meeting outcomes and deliverables.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all corporate interactions, agreements, and communications using Salesforce CRM.
  • Facilitate internal requests for corporate relations agreements and draft templates, managing the full process—including NDAs, collaboration agreements, and grant applications—and coordinate invoicing and tracking with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a detailed tracking plan for all corporate solicitations, contract expirations, and invoice deadlines, proactively supporting renewal discussions.
  • Submit corporate grant applications and monitor grant reporting deadlines via collaborator systems or email, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Responsible for identifying new leads, conducting research of prospective supporters, monitoring industry trends, and tracking all prospects to inform outreach.
  • Draft talking points and other outreach content for prospective supporters.
  • Collaborate with Assistant Director to build and maintain sector-specific prospective pipelines.
  • Participate in internal project meetings (e.g., Accounting, Salesforce, Development) and take ownership of follow-up items.
  • Support the planning and execution of the COPD Foundation’s and the Bronchiectasis and NTM Association’s Corporate Council meetings and related events.
  • Collaborate with the Specialist, Corporate Relations to assist with the development of individualized collateral/messaging and track deliverables for supporter campaign fulfillment.
  • Attend relevant industry events, meetings and conferences (as appropriate), and track outputs and follow-up of discussions. 

Professional and Personal Competencies:

 

  • 2 years of experience in administration or coordination, preferably within a healthcare or non-profit environment. Experience in corporate relations a plus.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently, from inception to completion.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear and concise information.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to be adaptable, solutions-orientated, and excel in a virtual team environment.
  • High attention to detail and results-driven approach to responsibilities.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience in Salesforce is preferred.
  • Entry-level experience in Canva a plus.
  • Ability to travel for job-related events, meetings, and conferences
