About the Director of Marketing, Business Development role:

 

The Director of Marketing, Business Development is responsible for business opportunities and designing 'go-to-market' plans to deliver measurable and significant revenues within the assigned vertical. This leader will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success in generating leads and fostering customer and strategic partner relationships.  The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy, identify key partners and expand into new markets.  You will work with a team that combines world-class expertise in polymer science with a demonstrated track record of developing robust manufacturing processes for polymeric films and coatings. 

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

You will initiate and participate in strategic partnership discussions by collaborating with the Tactus                 Research and Development team and contract manufacturing partners

Develop product strategies supported by informed data and marketing collateral

Generate product line forecast and P&L

Support VP Sales at major OEM customers

News Releases, Web Site content and Trade Shows

Comfortable leading or engaging in conversations within or outside of Display Industry with leaders           of varying hierarchical levels


Qualifications:

Proven track record in Product roll out and partnership formation

Development and execution of Product Strategies including:

                   *Pricing Models

               *Product line Positioning & Planning

                    *Forecasting 

10 to 15 years’ experience in Marketing and Business Development in Materials Industry or Adjacent             Technology such as Displays 

Comfortable leading or engaging in conversations within or outside of Display Industry with leaders               of varying hierarchical levels 

Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and formally present across all           levels of organization, customer base, and outside parties

High sense of urgency and personal accountability

Extensive industry knowledge supported by contacts

Ability to travel internationally

Education:

BS in Materials Science or Chemistry with MBA preferred
