Do you love startups and helping others achieve their potential? Venture For America is seeking a highly energetic and digitally savvy Analyst to support all aspects of our Company Partnerships team. Each year, VFA helps 200+ recent college graduates match with startup jobs in 14 cities across the country. You will work with the Senior Director of Company Partnerships to analyze data from prior hiring seasons to identify key trends and patterns, make improvements to platforms that are crucial to our hiring process and platform (“VFA Match”) and ensuring greater equity and inclusion in the process, capture data and build mechanisms for capturing other essential data, and manage all details of the company placement process.
What you’ll do:
Support new Fellow onboarding through platform management, Fellow progress tracking, and generally collaborating with the Onboarding manager to ensure Fellows become excellent job seekers.
Support companies in the VFA hiring process by managing the hiring agreements collection process, owning VFA Match data and infrastructure and analysis, and providing technical support to all users
Manage 3+ annual job fair events with 100+ attendees each, including venue bookings and logistics, invitations and RSVPs, interview scheduling and event website management
Support data infrastructure and management by administering bi-annual surveys to company partners, analyzing and visualizing company and Fellow data, and supporting data request from internal teams and external partners
Providing additional support to Community Directors across VFA cities, including document creation (collateral material, pitch decks) and supporting quarterly OKR tracking and reporting
Support the annual VFA Selection process, as expected of all team members, and provide ad hoc support to Fellows transitioning roles mid-program
Assist as needed in Fellow support through onboarding and VFA Match.
You:
Have a B.A./B.S. and 1-3 years of experience in operations, data science/data analytics, or a related field
Are a natural problem-solver, have a mind for process and logistics, and can think through every aspect of a problem while developing a solution
Have an aptitude for managing and manipulating data and administering back-end systems
Have experience with one or more of the following: Airtable, Salesforce, SQL, Tableau, Splash, Google Classroom or other learning management systems
Are exceptionally organized and detail-oriented -- you can multitask without dropping anything, and never miss a deadline
Demonstrate next-level communication skills, and are adept at balancing multiple people’s needs
Are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to solve problems before being asked
