Do you love gathering, analyzing and visualizing data? Are you an Airtable expert who has developed bases before? Are you a spreadsheet pro who’s never had a formula error you couldn’t fix?
Venture For America is looking for a part-time, company partnership contractor to help us maintain our Match data on our internal Match platform as well as our custom Airtable base. Ensuring data compliance across the team and executing data uploads on a daily basis are critical to ensuring the VFA Team has everything they need to support Fellows and Company Partners during the Match process. Those who enjoy processes and are problem solvers who enjoy working with data will succeed in this position. This opportunity will help you sharpen or grow your Airtable and data skills as well as provide unique insight into the internal workings of the Match process.
This contract, part-time, temporary position will work remotely and report directly to our Senior Director of Company Partnerships while we seek to hire a permanent Company Partnerships associate. This position is particularly well suited for VFA Alumni who have experience with the Match process, but experience with our program is not required. The contractor may apply for consideration for the full time permanent position when posted.
What you’ll do:
Execute critical daily data uploads across multiple tech platforms
Manage the workflow processes for the Company Partnership team with the customized Airtable base
Work closely with the Senior Director of Company Partnerships to manage Fellow and team member inquires
Analyze data on the weekly Match performance of Fellows to provide insights to the team and the incoming class
Maintain our customized Airtable base assisting with creating new views, answering questions for team members and ensuring others know how to maximize the technology
Play an integral role in the data integrity of our Match data
Identify any gaps in our current data and devise solutions to gather that additional information
You:
Can commit 10-15 hours per week
Have experience working with some or all of the following: Airtable, Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau, SQL
Are exceptionally organized and able to work well independently — you always deliver results
Demonstrate next-level communication skills
Are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to solve problems before being asked
Ideally:
You’ve built out bases in Airtable before
You’ve pulled data using Tableau or a tech platform equivalent
