Programs Data and Operations Associate

Venture For America is seeking a logistical powerhouse for our Programs team— which is responsible for the fellowship experience and manages many hallmark programs. As the Programs Data and Operations Associate, you will manage fellowship data, Fellow and Alumni surveys, impact evaluation, and provide operational support to the Programs team.
This position will ideally work out of a VFA office in either New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit or Baltimore with the potential to work out of any VFA city for the right candidate.
What you’ll do:
Manage the data integrity for the entire Fellow and Alumni community through the use of Salesforce and Airtable
Support the Entrepreneurship team in managing and analyzing our Fellow founder data
Deliver and analyze Fellow surveys (3x/year) and Alumni survey (1x/year) data to provide insights into how best to support our Fellows and Alumni
Provide vital operational and logistics support for National Programming including managing the backend of the VFA’s Mentorship Network, HR Sift platform, Fellow & Alumni Slack, and email aliases/listservs
Generate impact evaluation reports for Senior Leadership Team including the CEO/COO on a regular basis that tell the story of our Fellows, Alumni, and programs and empower the team at large to make data-driven decisions
Be the take-on-anything, right-hand support for the VFA Programs team that works closely with our community of 1000+ Fellows and Alumni
Be a core member of our Training Camp team, spending 5-weeks on Wayne State University’s campus in Detroit, focused on executing the programming and bringing our signature program to life
Participate in VFA recruitment and selection events on an ongoing basis, as is expected of all Team members
You:
Have a B.A./B.S. and 1-3 years of experience working with data and preferably in an operations role
Are a natural problem-solver, have a mind for process and logistics, and can think through every aspect of a problem while developing a solution
Have experience working with Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable and Salesforce
Are exceptionally organized and detail-oriented -- you can multitask without dropping anything, and never miss a deadline
Demonstrate next-level communication skills, and are adept at balancing multiple people’s needs
Are comfortable with ambiguity and take initiative to solve problems before being asked
