The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and developing product marketing positioning, messaging and documentation to support key market verticals and ultimately drive sales opportunities. You will work collaboratively with the Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to execute against a Product Marketing roadmap. This position can be located in either our Cincinnati, OH or Oakland, CA office.


Responsibilities


  • Create product marketing content based on understanding the market, developing use cases based on personas and product documents and specs

  • Market to multiple stakeholders in the Business to Business to Consumer (B to B to C) space - developers, partners, OEMs, Customers, Integrators, Resellers

  • Build and deliver sales materials that align with the key market verticals and business goals

  • Develop and maintain a timeline for product marketing deliverables

  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams including Product, Sales, Business Development and Customer Success to align deliverables


Additional Skills

  • Excellent communication skills - You will be communicating with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • You don’t have to be an engineer but you should have the ability to quickly pick-up and comprehend technical product documentation.

  • Excellent writing skills.

  • Understanding of consumer (end-user) behavior with an understanding and empathy for their jobs

  • Some graphic design and/or video skills are a plus


Experience

  • 3-5 Years experience in Product Marketing function in technology.

  • Technical writing experience (CS, Product Management, Engineering) or writing for industry publications.

  • Experience working with innovation and research teams is a plus.
