LISNR is seeking a Platform Engineer to provide support to our Engineering Team. The Platform Engineer will participate in all phases of software development including design, coding, integration, and debugging of major portions of software projects.

You will bring demonstrated experience to imaginatively address assignments of all complexity levels. A qualified candidate will demonstrate self-motivation and own the execution of project/program tasks.


  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

  • Writing code

  • Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.

  • Documentation

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.

  • Provide recommendations to improve our development process.

  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.


  • Reports to Platform Engineering Manager


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a Related Field

  • C/C++ Development experience on embedded, mobile or consumer electronic platforms

  • Great communication skills

  • Well organized with ability to prioritize changing needs

  • Experience with development in C/C++

  • Requirements Analysis


  • Familiarity with iOS (Objective-C) / native Android (NDK) development

  • Embedded Software and Systems knowledge

  • Embedded software development experience

  • C++11 experience

  • Familiar with Sockets and Network Programming

  • MATLAB familiarity

  • Experience and/or familiarity with DSP / signal processing

  • Firmware Development

  • Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)

  • Linux/Windows/MacOS audio development
