Ria Health is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Operations.
Our healthcare technology company is seeking a Senior Director Clinical Operations to oversee and manage our provider network, clinical operations and quality management program. The Senior Director Clinical Operations will be responsible for capacity projections and planning, provider recruiting, credentialing and performance management, optimizing clinical utilization and management of the company’s quality management program and for the direct supervision of key support staff focused in these areas.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES and ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and execution of capacity projections for the clinical network, including timing of hiring and availability management of MDs, NPs, RNs and MAs to support the operations and growth of clinical care delivery ensuring that specific benchmarks are met around readiness to serve patient demand within specific timeframes and while maintaining and optimizing network efficiency.
Oversee clinical recruiting staff to ensure recruiting is timely and the specific qualifications required are clearly communicated and fulfilled.
Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the provider onboarding and training experiences, establishing and maintaining metrics to report effectiveness, efficiency and provider satisfaction and optimize MD and NP supervision pairings
Oversee staff that manage the day to day clinical operations and provide support and guidance necessary to optimize the clinical schedule and patient and provider engagement.
Oversee the credentialing function ensuring that targets are met and that the credentialing process aligns with NCQA and payer contract requirements
Participate in a process to optimize credentialing operations including evaluating third party CVOs, achieving and maintaining payor delegated credentialing
Develop and manage provider performance metrics and quality improvement initiatives in alignment with Joint Commission standards
Monitor and analyze provider network performance data to identify areas for improvement
Ensure clinical compliance with all applicatory regulatory authorities, including but not limited to state medical and clinical boards, federal and state telehealth regulations, Joint Commission and CMS.
Participate in the development and maintenance of the company's quality management program, including the development of policies and procedures and tracking of compliance with these programs.
Participate in the budgeting process for clinical operations staffing
Manage a team of provider network and clinical operations professionals
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Required skills and experience:
Masters degree in a healthcare or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in provider network management and/or clinical operations, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on data
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and implement process improvement for their clinical workflows
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external partners
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of CMS and state Medicaid regulations preferred
