Job Position: Vice President Risk Adjustment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the company’s strategy and operations for Fraud, Waste, Abuse and Error for Risk Adjustment insurance programs
• Network and attend conferences within the healthcare insurance risk adjustment community
• Develop, design and test product enhancements and project workflow for risk adjustment modules and analytics
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise to clients as needed
• Provide Sales Support as needed
• Conduct system demonstrations to existing and potential clients as needed
• Develop educational content for staff, clients, and the risk adjustment industry and make presentations at industry conferences
• Assist in the development of sales/marketing content
• Understands and complies with all company Privacy and Security standards
• Employee may not use or disclose any protected health information, except as otherwise
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Other duties as needed
• Reports to the Executive Vice President
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in healthcare insurance risk adjustment
• At least one or more relevant industry certifications including CRC, RHIA, CCS-P, and CPC
• Knowledge of HCC, CPT, ICD-10 & HCPCS required
• Strong technical background and ability to understand complex product functionality, design and technical issues
• Ability to manage and multi-task across multiple projects, features and teams
• Experience working with remote teams
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc) and other tools related to project management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Problem solving
• Deep knowledge of medical coding and healthcare risk adjustment programs
• This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.
