Healthcare Fraud Shield (“HCFS”) is a leading provider of Fraud, Waste and Abuse (“FWA”) detection software to healthcare payers. Founded in 2011, HCFS is one of the fastest growing providers of FWA solutions in the healthcare industry. HCFS offers a next-generation SaaS platform that uses proprietary data, artificial intelligence, rules and algorithms to enable payers to identify FWA claims, driving meaningful cost savings and a high ROI for customers.

Healthcare Fraud Shield is currently seeking an IT Support professional to assist with everyday technical issues and project-based work. This position has the opportunity to learn systems administration and security roles for potential growth on our IT Operations team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and deploy end user workstations and company assets per company procedures
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of new and existing company servers (Windows/Linux) and network equipment
  • Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
  • Monitor and respond promptly to requests received by phone or through the IT help desk portal
  • Troubleshoot help desk tickets
  • Provide Internal user support
  • Set up and configure workstations
  • Manage user accounts
  • Assist in department projects
  • Maintain network systems
  • Monitor systems and perform various tasks as delegated
  • Performs security monitoring and auditing duties as required by IT Operations procedures.
  • Understands and complies with all company Privacy and Security standards

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES  

 

  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11
  • Prior experience working help desk support
  • Experience with Windows 2019/2022 Server is a plus but not required
  • Experience with scripting is a plus but not required
  • This position will work a flexible hybrid model with an average of 1 day a week in the office. At times, more days in the office may be required based on current business needs
  • Ability to communicate and work with others and provide exceptional end-user support

REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have high speed internet (satellite is not allowed for this role) with a minimum speed of 25mbs download and 5mbs upload.
