The position will commence on March 1st, 2024
A rough job description is listed below:
- Coordinates all procurement specs from Subject Matter Experts (rail, track, systems, roadways, bridges etc.) and compiles for procurement packages.
- Preferably a legal background.
- Assist with managing document development and procurement processes for large A&E, professional service, design-build, and design-bid-build contracts.
- Leads RFQs/ RFPs packaging.
- Prepare procurement documents (RFPs, RFQs, REOIs, etc.) and related contracts.
- Manage pre-bid RFIs both to and from potential proposers and assist with post-bid RFIs.
- Assist with proposer meetings, including pre-procurement industry meetings, interviews, and post-award contract negotiations.
- Manage procurement schedules and project team meetings, and collaborate with multiple functional groups, including the Engineering Management Team, Right-of-Way, Risk Management, Legal, Environmental, Contracts, and Construction.
- Assist and advise on insurance compliance related matters, including drafting and interpreting contract language.
- Develop boilerplate documents for procurements and competitively bid contracts.
- Strong project coordination skills amongst all functional groups.
