Victory Lane Aviation is a dynamic and fast-growing aviation maintenance company specializing in a wide range of airframes and engines. We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as A&P Mechanics. As an A&P Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of our diverse fleet of aircraft.
Must be willing to work OT, Travel, and be based out of either-or location. (Concord, NC or/and Charlotte, NC).
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of airframes and engines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct thorough inspections, including pre-flight inspections, routine maintenance checks, and post-flight inspections to identify any potential issues and ensure aircraft safety and performance.
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly, including maintenance logs, work orders, and service records.
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to resolve complex technical issues and implement effective maintenance solutions.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory.
- Must be able to work on variety of aircraft under 61, 91, 121, 125, 135, 141 operations
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience as an A&P mechanic is required.
- Preferably, 5 years of experience working on a variety of airframes and engines.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and operations.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and maintain clear and accurate documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
