Key Responsibilities:

·      Process transactional accounting activities, including journal entries, for all US entities

·      Complete monthly close on a timely basis

·      Reconcile all assigned balance sheet accounts monthly

·      Review monthly US financial statements for reasonableness

·      Ensure compliance with IFRS requirements

·      Coordinate activities with external auditors, providing the appropriate information as needed

·      Perform ad hoc assignments and financial analysis as needed

·      Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting related issues as needed

·      Maintain effective working relationships across the Company and at functional and corporate levels

·      Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement within the monthly close process and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce redundancy

 

Education and Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required

·      CPA (or some parts completed) is preferred

 

Work Experience:

·      Minimum of 2-3 years of combined accounting and financial planning and analysis experience is preferred

·      Current knowledge of US GAAP is required

·      IFRS and SEC reporting experience is preferred

·      Experience with revenue recognition rules as it relates to revenue from contracts is preferred

·      Understanding and familiarity with IFRS 16 Lease accounting is preferred

·      Experience with NetSuite is preferred

·      Advanced MS Excel skills are required
