Position Description

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Business Development, the Account Manager will achieve assigned sales objectives in their assigned legacy accounts. The Account Manager will primarily focus on existing Docupace enterprise Clients to cross-sell and upsell solutions to increase revenue. Additionally, the Account Manager will work to ensure all assigned clients are willing to be references as “raving fans” of Docupace while growing firm adoption within the assigned accounts.

The Account Manager will develop a pipeline of opportunities throughout the assigned target firms and will be responsible for identifying, engaging, managing, and closing opportunities.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Create and Execute on a sales business plan to achieve defined personal sales objectives.
• Create and manage a client account plan for all assigned clients
• Provide accurate and timely reports/forecasts.
• Achieve/exceed annual sales quotas on a consistent basis.
• Ensure all clients are referenceable and retain all clients
• Proactively identify and strategize ways to capture new account opportunities.
• Develop and maintain pipeline to support quota attainment in company CRM system.
• Qualify opportunities and sell the company’s product and service.
• Facilitate ongoing product demonstrations as required.
• Perform all sales-related activities.
• Leverage business from established relationships.
• Manage each stage of a complex sale.
• Strategize, negotiate and close deals.
• Develop strong internal working relationships with all functional areas within Docupace.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, and primary competitors in their industry.
• Manage customer expectations throughout the sales process and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting on current sales pipeline on a timely basis as required.
• Compile information and data related to customer interactions.
• Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
• Travel for in-person meetings with customers to develop key relationships. Travel as necessary (approx. 30-40%)

Education and Experience

• 7-10 years of Enterprise Sales experience with a documented track record of sales success, preferably in financial services technology sales, with a portion of SaaS/OnDemand solutions required
• Success at selling an emerging market enterprise technology solution
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• B2B calling and selling experience
• Experience in broker dealer/RIA business preferred
• Experience in Financial Services a must
• Experience Inbound/Outbound Sales
• Salesforce CRM experience for Sales Reporting/Forecasting
• Impeccable industry reputation.
